Marli has been successfully using the big girl's pot for quite some time now. We have even transitioned from diapers to pull ups/panties. At daycare she's practically potty trained. Her teachers rant and rave about how good of a job she does with recognizing when she has to go and actually going before the its too late. (Dope right?!) BUT at home its a totally different story. This girl absolutely refuses to go on cue, or go when i tell her.
And for the life of me, it drives me insane! The fight that occurs between her and I whenever i mention the word bathroom sends her up screaming to the nearest corner trying to hide from me. However, in public she consistently tells me she has to potty, I keep hearing, that's what the kids do, they give their parents a hard time. I aint hearing it.... I feel defeated and that i can not live with. Soooo, I can not rest until I conquer the slight " I refuse to use the the Potty at home" operation Marli has inflitrated my house with. I have heard from other mamas that potty training a girl is hard and now i believe them. My question next, though, is What tips can you provide to bridge the level of consistency of day care potty routines and at home routines?
