A unique 2 part arts integrated approach to teaching the basics of Restorative Practices for classroom/ community building. Restorative Practices have recently become a buzz word that has infiltrated departments and classrooms. The missing piece that often goes over looked is the intentional work that goes into shifting minds and hearts. People are often left without the language and strategies to effectively facilitate restorative environments.
Part one dives deep to the history of restorative practices and the importance of Beloved Community while also assess the currently environment to which restorative practices will exist in. Part two dives deep into strategies for execution while using art as a vehicle for tackling difficult conversations etc.
